The senior team of James Love, Morgan Love, Jeremy Holloway, John Haley and Caden Reed placed sixth overall, as did the junior shotgun team of Sy Schlattmann, Elizabeth Holloway, Casey Reed, Garrett Dalin and Chase Allen.

In Outdoor Skills, senior Weston Haley placed first overall.

In Archery, senior Jeremy Holloway placed second overall.  He also placed second as a member of the senior archery team; joining him on that foursome were Weston Haley, James Lovell and Morgan Love.

In .22 Pistol, intermediate Elizabeth Holloway placed seventh overall.

John Haley earned a trip to Raton, New Mexico, to shoot at the NRA Whittington Center.

Nationals

Weston Haley, Jeremy Holloway and James Love represented Wyoming 4-H Shooting Sports at nationals in Grand Island, Neb., from June 26 through July 1.

Holloway and James Love competed in Archery; they were coached by local 4-H shooting leader Dan Holloway.

Holloway competed in Outdoor Skills.

Wyoming’s compound archery team placed seventh overall out of 28 teams.

Collectively the 4-H members and leader from Big Horn County enjoyed their trip to national shoot, had multiple new learning opportunities and built new friendships with members across the country.
