The weather up here this spring has been perfectly normal until last Saturday when a whole fleet of showers and heavy rains were turned loose. Rain has fallen every day since and, Greybull, which most storms and rains pass up, got wet with the balance of the country. No damage has resulted from any of the rains but rather our ranchmen and stockmen are much pleased because their fields have been quite well soaked.
Just wondering ... we often wonder what would happen if the Rotary Club should pray for rain and the Kiwanis Club should pray for dry weather? And if you are not at church, are you working or fishing? Used cars: Cadillac Eight, touring, $650; Nash Six, touring, $600; Chevrolet touring, $650.

The much-hoped-for work to pioneer a road across the big slide on Highway 14 got under way this week. Taggart Construction Co. bulldozers had a 20-foot road across the slide except where it was still too wet from flowing springs. A culvert will be put on this section but opening dates are still “uncertain.”
