Letter to the Editor: BHC Fair quilt show wasn’t lost; it was held at BCAC

Dear editor: 

On behalf of the Basin City Art Center, I wish to correct an statement in the Fair Board article. The quilt show was not lost for years; it was rescued by the Art Center for two years until the Fair brought it back to the main building this year. 

A special thank you to Ginny Singer and Mary Lou Doyle for helping us hang the quilts as we were out of our element. The Art Center did not charge admission, and our members donated time to keep it open to the public at the cost only to the Art Center. Enough said.
