Letter to the Editor: Lifeguards desperately needed to hold swim lessons
Dear editor:
I am reaching out to the community about the Greybull Swimming Pool. Currently, the pool has only four lifeguards for this summer swimming season. They need eight lifeguards to run a regular schedule and swimming lessons. Without four more lifeguards, swimming lessons are in jeopardy.
One of the primary purposes of building our new pool was to give the children of Greybull and the surrounding area swimming lessons. We need people who see the value in swimming lessons to consider getting certified as lifeguards. I’m shouting out to young adults, parents, and retired folks to consider joining this endeavor.
Two certification training sessions are left this season: the last week of May and the first week of June. If you are interested in helping, please call Greybull Town Hall.
