Northwest College is actively seeking input from our service area residents of Park, Big Horn, and Washakie counties as part of a Community Needs Survey relating to the college and its academic offerings. Residents should watch for a postcard in their mailbox from Northwest College with a QR code and survey link.

7:13 p.m.: Officers participated in community relations at Greybull High School.
8:40 p.m.: Officers received reports of a lost dog on North Sixth Street.
Mar. 19 — 1:44 a.m.: Officers performed an additional patrol at Greybull Park on Second Avenue.
3:03 a.m.: Officers performed an additional patrol at Industrial Park on Shutte Drive.
5:06 p.m.: Officers responded to a disturbance on Fourth Avenue South.

POWELL (WNE)  — In July of 2021, Cody resident Danell Bennett went missing. It’s been three years since her disappearance and the case has gone cold.
Once House Bill 29 goes into effect, Bennett’s case and all other Wyoming cold cases could get a boost toward being solved due to new state resources.
“We have several cold cases around the state,” said Park County Sheriff Darrell Steward. “[The database] would help draw extra resources to the division to help the locals.”

CHEYENNE - Over the last year, mule deer managers at the Wyoming Game and Fish Department have been hard at work analyzing thousands of data points generated by collared deer on the landscape. The collared deer are part of a five-year monitoring project designed to enhance wildlife managers’ understanding of deer populations, their health and herd structure/composition. The data collected in the project’s inaugural year has been revealing to wildlife managers and has already provided incredible insight into the daily lives of deer.
