Casey Gordon Good

Jan. 2, 1988 - Dec. 6, 2025

Casey Gordon Good was born Jan. 2, 1988, to Rodger “Sam” and Susan Good of Greybull, Wyo. He left us all too soon on Dec. 6, 2025.

Casey had a passion for horses and rodeo at a young age. From the time he could walk, he had a rope in his hand. Sam and Susie put on many miles following him through junior rodeo, high school rodeo and college rodeo. In 2007, Casey graduated from Greybull High School and received a full ride scholarship to rodeo at Northwest College. He was extremely talented and would go on to finish fifth in 2009 at the College National Finals Rodeo in the calf roping. Casey studied farrier science while attending Northwest. He eventually transferred to Casper College where he continued to rodeo.

In 2010, he met the love of his life, Kristin. They were inseparable from the start and would go on to marry in 2012.

Casey had several accomplishments, especially in the rodeo world. His friends called him Trevor Brazile of the Big Horn Rodeo Circuit as he won 10 all-around saddles.

In 2015, Casey and Kristin welcomed their oldest son, Jaxson. He was a blessing and Casey was so proud of him. Casey’s second son Kade arrived in 2018 and completed his family. Casey was a family man. He enjoyed spending time with his boys from an early age. Casey lived a life that most people would dream about. He was a cowboy through and through and lived life to the fullest. He loved spending time in the Big Horn Mountains hunting and fishing. He passed that passion onto his boys. When Kade was just 2 years old, Casey saddled horses and took his family to Shell Lakes. That trip would become a yearly adventure with so many memories made. Casey had a passion for hunting wild game. It was his favorite time of year. Jaxson would beg his dad to let him skip school, and most of the time Dad would let him just so they could ride in the mountains looking for elk.

Casey was a big part of the Greybull community. He had a love for coaching sports and treated all the kids as if they were his own. He hauled Kade all over Wyoming, Colorado and Utah to compete in USA Wrestling tournaments. He was incredibly proud of Kade and all his accomplishments. He also coached Jaxson in several recreation leagues and developed him into a strong football player. Everyone knew Casey as the life of the party. He lit up every room he walked into. He especially loved telling jokes and horsing around with those who were close to him.

Casey had a special love for all his family. His sisters Bobbi Sue and Kim always felt it through his pranks and jokes. His mother was the one he could call for anything and always wanted to share his news with her. He especially looked up to his father Sam and grandfather Gary. There weren’t many Hudson Falls hunting stories that didn’t involve the two of them. Casey’s love for his wife Kristin was unmatched. He built a beautiful life with her and his legacy will live on through her and his boys.

Casey is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Bill Clayton, maternal grandmother Louitha Clayton, paternal grandmother Patricia Good, maternal (in-law) grandmother Joan Evanoff and maternal (in-law) Phillip Evanoff.

He is survived by his wife Kristin Good (Evanoff), sons Jaxson Good and Kade Good, father Rodger “Sam” Good, mother Susan Good, paternal grandfather Gary Good, sister Bobbi Sue Hoflund (Clint), sister Kim Good, three nephews, two nieces and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, at the Greybull Elks Lodge at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up at Big Horn Federal.
