Daniel Richard Chapman

Daniel Richard Chapman passed away Aug. 2  in Prescott, Ariz.  Dan was born Oct. 25, 1951, to Richard (Dick) and Dorothy (Bessler) Chapman in Powell, Wyo.  He attended first to most of fifth grade in Cody, Wyo.; fifth to eighth grade in Belfry, Mont., and high school in Greybull, Wyo., graduating with the class of 1970.

Dan enlisted in the Navy (1970-1974) and served time in Vietnam.  He was a very proud veteran. He was a musician and loved to play guitar and sing for people.  His generous spirit was apparent to all. 

 He was preceded in death by his father Richard, mother Dorothy, sister Dianne, son Richard and brother-in-law Lynn Terry.

He will be missed by his wife Jeanette (Willey) Chapman; his children Keca (Jason) Chapman, Kirk (Michele) Chapman and Ray (Misty) Chapman; his three grandchildren, Wyatt, Mariah and Alexia; great grandchild Davina and sister Dee Terry.

Services will be at the Lutheran church in Cordes Lakes, Ariz. on Aug. 23 at 2 p.m.

Military honors and spreading of ashes will be in Wyoming in the spring.
