June Arlene (Robison) Booth
June 1, 1940 – June 16, 2025
Longtime Hyattville resident June Arlene Booth, 85, passed away June 16, 2025, at Worland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
June was born June 1, 1940 in Otto, Wyo., the oldest child born to Joseph Ray and Ruth Florence (Ehrhard) Robison. She would later welcome siblings Ruth, Judy, Helen and James.
She graduated from Greybull High School in 1958 and married Glen Edwin Booth on Feb. 24, 1961. The couple moved to Hyattville to live on the ranch which was homesteaded by the Booth family. 1962 brought double blessings as the year began with the birth of their son, Harley, and at year’s end, Nancy joined.
She worked beside her husband on the ranch. Once the children were in school, June started working for the U.S. Postal Service. She began as a postal worker in Hyattville and eventually became the Postmaster in Manderson, Wyo. She and Glen were instrumental in the literal building of the Hyattville Post Office, a feat that gave her great pride.
June also served her community by being on the Weed and Pest Board as well as the Hyattville Cemetery Board. She loved being outdoors, gardening, hiking and cross-country skiing, but her favorite activity was having friends and family sitting around a campfire, sharing stories and just being together. This was her happy place!
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Glen and sister Ruth (Francis) Speldrick.
Survivors include her children, Harley (Jodie) Booth of Cody, Wyo., and Nancy (Tom) Zierolf of Hyattville; grandchildren: Robert and Hattie Booth; Thomas (Amy) Zierolf of Gilbert, Ariz., Sean Zierolf of Des Moines, Iowa and Ashley (Travis ) Baker of Chandler, Ariz.; great-granddaughter, Harper; brother, James Robison of Walla Walla, Wash.; sisters, Judy (Jerry) Partin of Milton-Freewater, Ore., Helen (Randy) Ellard of Walla Walla and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. She will be inurned next to her husband later this summer. Online condolences may be made at www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
