Mary Carolyne Kraft Holloway, 90, a devoted mother and wife, of Fairbanks, Alaska, passed away at her home on May 10, 2021.

Mary was born a twin on December 24, 1930, to Johann and Freta Geist Kraft in Otter, Montana. Mary was the last of 14 children. 

She married Donald Hague Paxton in 1949. They later divorced. She moved to Fairbanks, Alaska, after her divorce to live by her twin sister, Rose Hough. She met Elwyn “Elli” James Holloway, and they married in 1973, later divorced and then remarried. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johann “John” Kraft and Freta Geist Kraft, and siblings George Baskins Kraft, Christian Willard Kraft, Raymond France Kraft, Johannis “John” Benjamin Kraft, Edith Beatrice Kraft, Alvin Geist Kraft, Oliver Kenneth Kraft, Eunice Elaine Kraft, David Edwin Kraft, Donald Edward Kraft, Lewellyn Sherman Kraft, Fred Fayette Kraft and her twin, Rose Carol Kraft.

Mary is survived by her husband, Elwyn James Holloway, daughters Freta R. (Alex) Watko and Cynthia J. Merkling, son John D. (Dianne) Paxton, 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and some great-great-grandchildren.

There will be no services held. Cremation will take place. Interment will be held at a later date at the Lovell Cemetery.
