Matheau (Matt) Garrett Good

A memorial service for Matt Good will be held Friday, Aug. 15, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the Greybull Elks Lodge.

Matt was born Oct. 17, 1979, at the Lovell hospital, the son of Mark and Bobbie Good. He attended school in Arizona until the fourth grade, at which time he moved back to Greybull where he finished his schooling and graduated with the class of 1998. He then attended and graduated from Wyo Tech in Laramie, Wyo. 

Matt’s main employment during his working career was as a mud engineer for EOG. 

Matt’s greatest joy was spending vacation time with his boys at his father’s lake house in Minnesota. Hours were spent at the lake on the pontoon boat fishing and swimming.  Matt was also an avid fan of the Denver Broncos and loved attending the games in person.

Matt is survived by his mother and stepfather Bobbie and Dave Emmett of Arizona; twin sons Gatlin and Kamryn of Basin; his sister Caitlin Good and brother Jared Nelson, both from Minnesota; stepsister Gabrielle Jolly of Casper; stepmother Jennifer Good of Casper and his paternal grandmother Marlys Good of Greybull.  He also is survived by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

Matt was preceded in death by his wife Brandi Good; stepson Hagen; father Mark Good; his brother Rio Good; his paternal grandfather John Good; maternal grandfather Mike Hudson, and maternal grandmother Nora Johnson.
