Ronald Huff

November 11,1952 - March 2, 2026

Ron was 73 years old. Ron was born Nov. 11, 1952, in Columbus, Mont., to  the late Vern and Bertha Huff. Ron passed away March 2, 2026.

Ron married Elaine Howe and spent 49 1/2 wonderful years together. Ron had a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the University of Montana.

Ron is survived by wife Elaine of 49 1/2 years as well as his two children and their spouses: Timothy Ray and Shonda Huff of Fairfield, Ohio, and Anthony Walter and the late Tiffany Huff from Basin, Wyo. Ron is also survived by six grandchildren: Laney, Kaylee, Tyler, Hannah, Jayden and Ansley. He also has two grandpuppies,  Tank and Hemlin, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Ron started his career with the seismograph crew for two years. Ron then went to work for the Wyoming Department of Transportation in Newcastle, Wyo., for 15 years. He then transferred to Rawlins, Wyo., for five years, then transferring to Basin for the last 16 years of his career before he retired.

Ron enjoyed many things throughout his life: camping, fishing, and most of all, golfing. He also loved to spend time with his family. Ron will definitely be missed by many friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, donations on Ron’s behalf can be made to the Saam Veterinary Clinic or dropped off there in person in Basin, Wyo.

A service for Ron was held Saturday, March 7 at First Presbyterian Church, 433 First Ave. S. in Greybull, Wyo., at 2 p.m.
