Manderson man faces 17 felony charges

A 41-year-old Manderson man is facing multiple felony charges alleging that he physically and sexually abused a woman over a 10-day period last month.
Arthur Floyd Jones, 41, has been charged with 15 felony counts of sexual assault in the first degree, two counts of felonious restraint and five misdemeanor counts of domestic battery.  
The sexual assault charges split into two categories with 10 alleging he inflicted sexual intercourse by actual physical force and the other five alleging he did so by threat of death, serious bodily injury and/or extreme physical pain.
Prior to his arrest, Jones appeared on the state’s sex offender registry for a 2015 conviction in Wyoming for sexual assault in the first degree, with intrusion. He also has convictions for failing to register as a sex offender in Colorado.
Jones’ case has been bound over to Big Horn County District Court.
