In a past life, I worked in entertainment. My water cooler conversations were often about what movie I’d last seen in theatres or what TV show I was watching, and I’d always reply, a bit sheepishly, that I didn’t own a television (my mother eventually got me one as a housewarming present during the pandemic), though I did love going to the movies. I know my answer was (is) decidedly unusual, especially in that world.

Political parties in Wyoming are private organizations. However, unlike most private organizations, they are bound, not only by the bylaws they create, but also by state statute, Title 22.

As we approach the end of our 22nd season, I would like to thank our audience for trusting us to bring them health information that is current and accurate. There are many doctors out there who cannot make the same claims as the Prairie Doc’s and I would like to take this opportunity to help sort out those charlatans and quacks from trusted sources of health information.

I would like to thank former State Senator Ray Peterson for opening the door to a very key issue of public dialog. His guest column in the April 25 edition of the Lovell Chronicle emphasizes a fundamental element of a “free society” -- the opportunity to speak out and influence public discourse. The subject which Senator Peterson refers to as the “Slippery Slope” Committee, “SSC,” is important to be aware of; a more fundamental principle at stake here I would like to bring forth.
