The bank at Burlington was burglarized near midnight and all the money, bonds, and papers were taken. The money was said to be around $3,000.

Thieves broke into the apartment of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Mitchell during their absence, stealing nothing but clothes from the wardrobe.

Verla Lou Smith was awarded a four-year scholarship to the University of Wyoming by the Big Horn County Commissioners.
A nephew of Ernest Peterson of Greybull, Pvt. Ernest Edgar LaRose lost his life during the invasion of Saipahl
Greybull refinery workers lead in bond purchases. They bought 145% of their quota.

A reception honoring Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Preator was held at the Otto-Burlington Church,
