During the past week, State Health Officer Dr. H.T. Harris was called to the Burlington country and found scarlet fever in the homes of Ole Olson, James Aagard and Clifford Compo. The condition was brought there from Red Lodge, Mont. Dr. Harris immediately placed the families under quarantine, and it is hoped there will be no spread of the disease.
John Allen sustained a broken hip and other serious injuries in an accident on his ranch Saturday morning. He was driving a four-horse hauling logs to repair a bridge on lower Beaver Creek.

Pay checks aggregating nearly $8,000 were distributed to workmen and ranchers for horses employed on the Greybull-Shell road Saturday for the State Highway office.
