25 years later: Remembering September 11

 The events of Sept. 11, 2001, are so firmly fixed in my mind that it is hard to imagine how many Americans now have no personal memory of that day. For about half of us who are old enough to understand it, it remains one of those moments when the question, “Where were you?” can be answered immediately.
