Patrons of the Big Horn Theatre will be surprised next Friday when they attend the grand opening and discover a new color scheme, new lighting effects and a completely redecorated lobby and foyer. The first picture is a real treat. It is Will Rogers in “David Harum.”

May 11, 1944

Forty seniors will receive diplomas at commencement exercises Friday at 8 p.m. in the Greybull High School auditorium. Miss Frances Olson is the valedictorian; Miss Irmadean Lampman is the salutatorian.
60 years ago
May 11, 1964

In an “Arabian Nights” setting, Miss Anna Schmidt was crowned queen of the Junior Prom Friday night. Bill Shelledy, the junior class president, placed the crown on her head.
LeRoy Balfour was elected mayor of Greybull for a two-year term in what was a light turnout. Councilmen elected to four-year terms were Herb Asp and Gordon Chisholm.
50 years ago
May 9, 1974

A new stoplight system will be operating by the first of June at the Greybull Avenue and South Sixth Street intersection. Pat Brown, District engineer, said the new lights would be hanging over the street from all four corners.
