Mrs. Joe Clucas has hatched out with her incubator and sold more than 250 chicks so far this spring.
“17,” a four-act comedy by Booth Tarkington, is to be presented by the senior class at Greybull High School at 8 p.m. Friday April 24. Tickets are 50 cents and 25 cents.

April 19, 1945
Pfc. James Johnston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Johnston of Greybull, who had been a German war prisoner since January 1, was liberated March 29 after the allies entered the area where he was imprisoned. Following his liberation, he was taken to a hospital in France for care.
Mrs. Ben Jacobson of the Shell community was rushed to St. Luke’s hospital early Sunday morning for treatment of severe burns. She suffered the burns when the coal embers in the cooking range exploded when she added kerosene in building a fire.
Darrell Hanson, the bee man, has returned to Greybull after spending the winter in California looking after the company’s business there. He is making plans to get his bees distributed in a few days.

April 21, 1955
W. B. Wilson, former Greybull resident and son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wilson, is in critical condition in the Richmond, Calif., hospital after suffering second and third degree burns over his entire body in a flash fire at the Hercules Powder company plant at Rodeo, Calif., Thursday morning. He was rushed to the hospital where he is under care of several specialists and nurses.
One hundred forty-seven first and second graders in the Greybull schools were given the first Salk vaccine shots Tuesday morning.
The Greybull Junior High School will present its annual operetta, “Love Pirate of Hawaii,” under the direction of Mrs. Ina Faircloth and accompanied by Mrs. Dorothy Quigg, at the grade school auditorium Thursday, April 28.

April 15, 1965
Although it was time to be spring, winter weather gave it one more fling and dumped nearly two feet of snow in places on the Big Horn Mountains over the weekend. In the usual spring storm fashion, the snow fell heavily Friday night and all day and night Saturday and Sunday wound up with a near blizzard. The storm closed the road over the mountain.
Greybull policeman Lloyd Straight was fined $50 and costs after pleading guilty to leaving the scene of an accident. Straight was also ordered to pay the costs of the complainant’s car.
A change in plans to alleviate a slide problem is being made on Highway 14’s new construction just above the Shell Falls. The road is to be moved slightly to the north in that slide area.

The 1973 Chevrolet belonging to Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bullinger and driven by their son Pat, 17, was estimated as totaled early Sunday morning when he rounded a corner and swerved to miss an oncoming car and hit a tree.
John Good was elected chairman of the board for reorganized Big Horn County School District No. 3. Good, an employee of the state highway department, was one of three members of the previous school board who were elected to the board of the reorganized district. Charles Shannon and Dave Flitner are also members of the previous board who were reelected.
Miss Pat Shelledy and Jim Cline were named valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively.
