Calvin Shultz has every right to be proud of a bronze button awarded him for outstanding work in a CCC camp at Buffalo this summer. Calvin is the son of Mrs. Ida J. Fladness. He is taking a mechanical course in the CCC and this is his third year.
After outplaying the Worland High School Warriors in but one of the four periods, the Greybull Panthers eked out a 7-0 win, although they were outclassed during the remaining three quarters.

Sergeant Charley Spence was sent to San Diego for his basic training. This was followed by a special training course for six weeks. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charley Spence of Greybull.
The third son of Mr. and Mrs. Herschel Scott of Greybull, Joseph W. Scott has been in the Navy for nearly two years. He is now beginning his second year in overseas service.
A play-by-play account of the football game between Greybull and Cody here tomorrow will be broadcast over station KPOW

Larry Probst, owner and operator of the Probst Western Store, announced this week that he has purchased the building at the corner of Greybull Avenue and Sixth Street — now housing the Flower Center — from Mrs. Lois Engle.

Oct. 8, 1964
Thieves broke into Collingwood Motors garage again — this time making off with about $60 in cash. The cash register was not taken in this theft. Collingwood’s was robbed several months ago and the cash register stolen. It was later found empty in Yellowstone Park.
A coin-operated laundry is being installed by Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Bigger in the old paint shop building across from E. T. Foe and Sons on South Sixth Street.
Mrs. Mabel Jean Le Duc of Greybull was hospitalized overnight for observation following a one-car accident at the intersection of the Greybull River Road and US 16-20 about 7 p.m. Friday.

Gerald H. Holm, vice president of First National Bank in Greybull, has resigned and will leave next week for Miles City, Mont. where he has accepted a position as assistant vice president of the First Security Bank and Trust.
Swindlers, using a variety of approaches, have been operating in Big Horn County and thus far have hit and run, staying one step ahead of the law, Sheriff George Warfel cautioned residents the early part of this week. Warfel asked residents approached by a stranger with a proposition that appears inviting to call his office at once, day or night.
Candidates for homecoming queen were Sandra Michaelis and Marilyn Molaskey. Attendants are Ellen Flitner, DeDe Copenhaver and Becky Massey.
