Balanced scoring highlights JV’s easy victory over Wind River

Four players scored nine points or more to lift Greybull’s junior varsity boys basketball team to a 62-11 win over Wind River on Saturday afternoon.

Cord Edeler and Anthony Chacon led with 10 apiece, followed by William Harlow and Gatlin Gorski, each with nine.  Edeler was tops in rebounds with eight.  Chacon led in steals with seven. 

“What was most impressive is that the team went out and executed what we had practiced, and they did not take a step back after Christmas break,” said assistant coach James Armel. “While the competition was not the same as some other JV games we have played, the players maintained their attention to detail in the first win of the new year.”
