Book Group to resume meetings in September
This month was another month of transition. Julie Craft gave notice and resigned. She will be missed greatly by patrons and staff alike. Toward the end of the month, Roxanne Everhard was hired to fill the position. She has been working as a sub in Basin and Greybull, so it has been an easy transition and you may have already had the opportunity to meet her. We are very fortunate to have her on board.
The last Thursday of July, Lisa Kunkel’s photography group had an exhibit in the library and presentation in the meeting room. This was a youth group and there are some very nice photos on display in the library.
As school is starting again this week and some of the after-school programs have been cut, we are offering homework help for grades three to five at the library Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
September is just around the corner so we will resume Book Group. Our first book will be “Eye Contact,” by Cammie McGovern. Copies are available at the circulation desk. We will again be meeting the last Wednesday of each month, starting at 5:15 p.m.
We hope everyone has had a wonderful summer and are looking forward to meeting again soon.
