Elks crown Hoop Shoot champs

Seventeen boys and girls ages 8 to 13 competed in Saturday’s local round of this year’s Elks Hoop Shoot.
The winners of the six age groups advance to the district shoot, which will be held Jan. 20 at NWC in Powell.
The qualifiers include Makenzie Kottmann, Kaylynne Kottmann, Benjamin Casey, Bret Winters and Baron Eichelberger.

8- AND 9-YEAR-OLD GIRLS — 1, Makenzie Kottman, 3-25
8- AND 9-YEAR-OLD BOYS — 1, Benjamin Casey, 20-25.  2, Brigham Winters, 18-25. 3, Conner DeShazer, 5-25.
10- AND 11-YEAR-OLD GIRLS — 1, Kaylynne Kottman, 2-25.
10- AND 11-YEAR-OLD BOYS — 1, Bret Winters, 13-25.  2, Korbin Stewart, 12-25.  3, Tanner Dunlap, 8-25.
12- AND 13-YEAR-OLD GIRLS — No participants.
12- AND 13-YEAR-OLD BOYS — 1, Baron Eichelberger, 20-25.  2, Kellen Winters, 17-25.  3, Tell Edeler, 14-25.
