The final week of the filing period has arrived for legislative, county and town government seats that will appear on the August primary election ballot.
For partisan races, Republican Bruce Jolley has filed for a four-year term on the Big Horn County Commission and Republican Dalton Banks is seeking another term as District 26’s voice in the Wyoming House of Representatives.
In Greybull, former police chief Bill Brenner has filed for mayor and Chris Dooley, an incumbent, has filed for council.
Brenner will challenge Myles Foley, the incumbent, in the August mayoral primary.
Dooley and Gerald Crist, the other incumbent, are the only filers thus far for a pair of four-year council terms.
The filing period closes at 5 p.m. Friday, May 31.
