Foley re-elected mayor
Myles Foley was re-elected to serve a fifth term as mayor while Pam Flitner, Todd Dalin, Bette Rae Jones and Mike Whaley staked their claim to seats on the school board in the most prominent local races that appeared on Tuesday’s general election ballot.
Foley received 427 votes, or 55% of those cast, compared to 319 votes, or 41%, for Bill Brenner, the town’s former police chief, in official election results released late Tuesday night by the Big Horn County Clerk’s Office.
Foley was first elected mayor in 2014 and won bids for re-election in 2018, 2020 and 2022 before his victory on Tuesday.
The final results also show nine write-ins and 16 undervotes.
A pair of four-year terms on the Greybull Town Council were also on the line in the general election. Incumbents Chris Dooley and Gerald Crist ran unopposed for them, with Dooley earning 618 votes and Crist 510.
With their swearing in come January, they will rejoin Jeremy Kottman and Blaine Jolley, whose terms run through 2026.
