GBAC to host tournament Saturday

Hundreds of wide-eyed young grapplers will converge in Greybull Saturday for the annual youth wrestling tournament hosted by the Greybull-Basin Athletic Club.
There are approximately 60 kids on the GBAC team this year, according to Nathan Hetzel, one of the team’s coaches.  While some will see their seasons end at a tournament next weekend in Powell, the more experienced wrestlers will continue to prep for their annual state tournament.
Saturday’s tournament features two sessions, with 6U, 10U and 14U up in the morning session that starts at 8 a.m. followed by the 8U, 12U and 16U competition starting at approximately 11:30 a.m.
Last weekend, GBAC competed in the North Big Horn Invitational.

6 AND UNDER — Kade Good placed first at 40-45, Jax Downing placed third at 40-45, Orrin Wilkinson placed first at 49, Cash Hartman placed second at 53-56.
