Greybull Middle School athletes produced six more Best of the Best qualifying performances at Saturday’s Lovell Invitational.
Cody Myers qualified in the high jump, Elijah Rice and Josey Whaley qualified in the shot put, Ella Keisel and Cruz Sorenson qualified in the discus and Riley Wiggins qualified in the 1,600.
For Sorenson and Keisel, it was their second AQ of the season. Each of them qualified in the shot put at the April 5 meet in Greybull.
Eleven GMS athletes have now punched their tickets to the season-ending competition in Lander.
“Everyone has been working hard throughout the week and it is really showing in competition,” said Coach Becky Eichelberger. “We head to Shoshoni on Saturday with the hopes of having a few more athletes qualify.”
