Good, Collingwood are top point scorers at team roping event

Local cowboy Casey Good captured high-point honors at the annual Bob Good Memorial Roping held July 11-13 at the Greybull rodeo grounds.

Good finished the three days of competition with 30 points, holding off J.T. Collingwood, with 24, and Zane Williams, with 21, who rounded out the top three.

Cruz Viles placed fourth with 16, followed by Justin Viles with 16 and Hudson Rousch with 15.

Here are a few more of the weekend highlights:

• In the father and son, Cruz and Justin Viles placed first, followed by Scott & J.T. Collingwood.

• In barrels, Claire Castleberry won the open, London Viles the  9-12 and Brenly Gerstner the 8 and under.

• In the 8.5, first went to Casey Good, followed by Hudson Rousch and Zane Williams.

• In the 5 Steer, Jace Sorensen and J.T. Collingwood finished first, followed by Casey Good and Willy Gould.

• Jordan and Bob Herman won All in the Family.

• Laura Pilot and Willy Good won the mixed roping.

• Hudson Rousch and Zane Williams won the 9.5, followed by Scott Collingwood and Tanner Greimsman.
