Greybull Police Department will host its annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, Aug. 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the city park.
“It brings everybody together,” Police Chief Travis Davis said.
Officer Cat Wiekhorst has organized the event, which will include stations from several local businesses. In the past, there have been electrical demonstrations, ring the bell and bow-and-arrow practice. The police department has provided fishing poles for door prizes and the Silver Spur has donated bicycles.
National Night Out is held across the country on the second Tuesday in August as a way to promote community relationships between citizens and law enforcement.
There is no cost to attend.
