Greybull hoop programs benefit from donations

Neither the varsity boys nor the varsity girls emerged victorious in their matchups with Tongue River, but Saturday was still a winning day for the Greybull High School basketball programs.
Between games, it was announced that the family of John Good had presented a $5,000 donation to the basketball programs to help cover the cost of the district’s “first meal out” policy.
The announcement referenced Good as “a big believer in high school basketball, as a parent, grandparent, school board member and as a broadcaster.”
WINS = DOLLARS
The boys and girls basketball programs will also reap some additional rewards for every conference win they earn during the regular season.
A.W. Hunt Construction and Greybull Building Center announced that they will each donate $250 for every conference victory this season.
After the first round of league play, the boys have three wins and the girls have one so the total stands at $2,000.
All money will be split equally between the two programs.
