A Greybull man has been sentenced to three to five years in prison after pleading no contest to five drug charges that stemmed from an investigation into the Jan. 2, 2022, overdose of a 25-year-old Cody man.
Anthony Fuentes, 35, entered the no contest pleas to two felony counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (fentanyl), two felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance (fentanyl) and a high misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance during his sentencing hearing Dec. 19 in the Fifth Judicial District Court of Big Horn County.
Prosecutors alleged that Fuentes sold two counterfeit Oxycodone pills that were laced with fentanyl to the Cody man. The victim was identified only as “J.J.” in court documents, but in Greybull, those initials are understood to be a reference to Jordan Jackson.
