Lady Buff JV falls in two
The Lady Buffs were topped in two sets by the Burlington Husky JV in a non-conference match last week.
“It was a tough game,” said Coach Christine Armel. She said “most of the team was struck with sickness so our energy level was low and just overall, it was a harder time. They did their best to push through.”
Armel had words of praise for Fallon Hoffman for her “good job’ playing middle in the front row “and playing defensively as well.”
Also praised was Avery Allen “who had some good blocks and Brooklyn Allen “came out swinging and had some really good hits.”
The Buffs have two important conference matchups this weekend. Friday they host the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies. Saturday they go to Thermop.
Rocky and Thermopolis both fell to the Buffs in their first conference matchup - and both games were hard-fought and challenging.
