We have our book groups coming up soon for the month of April at the Greybull Public Library. The adult book group will meet Wednesday, April 30 at 5 p.m. We will be discussing the book, “Lilac Girls,” by Martha Hall Kelly. The young adult group will meet Monday, April 28 at 5 p.m. for a discussion on the book, “Orbiting Jupiter” by Gary D. Schmidt.

The drawing for a children’s Easter basket will continue until April 17 when we will draw for the winner after our special Easter Story Time and activities. Be sure and drop by with your little ones, check out some books and put in for the drawing as often as you can.  Our Story Time is every Thursday at 11 a.m.

The Greybull Public Library will be hosting a Virtual/Hybrid Lotus Lantern Craft Workshop with Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project (KSCPP) on May 13 at 3 p.m. in the library/museum meeting room. The KSCPP will teach participants step by step how to make a lovely lotus flower lantern using colored paper and a premade wireframe. At the same time, the participants will learn about Korea’s unique history and culture. A short documentary film will be played toward the end of the class. There will be 20 Lotus Lantern kits available (no cost); just stop by the library and sign up so you don’t miss out on this fun, informative activity.

Don’t forget, we have thousands of books and magazines available on the Libby App. If you aren’t able to find the titles you are looking for in print at the library, check out the app and see if it is available there. If not, let us know and we will see if it is something we could possibly add to our collection locally or in the Libby App.
