Letter to the Editor: We need a DOGE to look into highway department waste

Dear editor:

I am not sure what it costs to have the highway department apply the paint on the highway striping that they do. What is alarming is that within the last 30 days, they striped the local highways in the area. Now they are chip sealing those very same roads, covering the recent painted stripes. They will have to return and repaint the highways again. 

Maybe the state of Wyoming needs to have a DOGE to check on waste, theft and fraud.
