Average gas prices drop 11.3 cents in past week in Wyoming
CHEYENNE (WNE) — Average gasoline prices in Wyoming have fallen 11.3 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.37 per gallon on Monday, according to GasBuddy.com’s survey of 494 stations in Wyoming.
Prices in Wyoming are 30.4 cents per gallon lower than a month ago, and stand 18.7 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has fallen 4.2 cents in the last week and stands at $4.34 per gallon.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the lowest price in the state was $2.74 per gallon on Sunday, while the most expensive was $4.06 per gallon, a difference of $1.32 per gallon.
The national average price of gasoline has fallen 4.6 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.33 per gallon Monday. The national average is down 24.8 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 42.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data.
This data was compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
Greybull KOA earns awards
Greybull KOA Holiday campground earned the prestigious KOA Founder’s and President’s Awards Thursday, Nov. 16 at Kampgrounds of America, Inc.’s annual international convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The KOA Founder’s Award, named in honor of Dave Drum, who founded KOA on the banks of the Yellowstone River in Billings, Mont., in 1962, is KOA’s highest service award. It is awarded exclusively to those KOA campground owners and managers who attain world-class scores in both customer service and the KOA Quality Review.
The KOA President’s Award is presented to those campgrounds meeting exceptional quality standards and who receive high customer service scores from their camping guests. KOA surveys hundreds of thousands of campers each year regarding their KOA camping experience.
Pine branches to decorate main street
If you plan on venturing out for a Christmas tree the weekend after Thanksgiving, please consider donating the trimmed branches. Boughs are needed to decorate the planters along main street for the holiday season.
Trimmings can be left behind the community hall at 527 First Ave. S. in Greybull. The planters will be decorated on Nov. 28.

Greybull FFA organizes fun run
Greybull FFA will host an ugly sweater 5K fun run and one mile walk on Saturday, Dec. 2 to help provide families in need with food items for the holidays.
The event will kick off at 10:30 a.m. at the Greybull High School track. The entry fee is a donation of three nonperishable food items.
The winner of the fun run will be awarded a ham. A prize will also go to the participant sporting the ugliest sweater.
