A fundraiser for Totes for Hope is planned for Friday, March 22 at 6 p.m. at Bob’s Diner and Bakery in Greybull.
Totes for Hope provides weekend food for students at Big Horn County School District No. 4 in Basin. Bags of food are distributed on Fridays to students whose families face food insecurity. Thirty students are currently signed up.
Carmen Olson, who coordinates Totes for Hope, is extremely thankful for the benefit. She hopes many people will attend not only to help the program but also enjoy hearing local talent.
This is the fourth open mic benefit event hosted by Bob’s. Past recipients included the Kinane family, whose son is battling leukemia, Saddles in Service and Orrs Hope Foundation.
Deanna Skillman said “We will be serving beer, wine, charcuterie snack boxes and table snacks. We will also have coffee, tea and fountain drinks. You don’t want to miss this one. There is a $5 entry fee per person.
