The second annual Squeal Your Thirst pig barn fundraiser is set for April 20. The event will feature signature drinks from local restaurants and bars plus a silent auction and loads of fun. It will be held at the Los Gabanes Event Center in Greybull.
Last year the fundraiser raised around $10,000, before expenses, for the construction of a new pig barn at the Big Horn County Fairgrounds in Basin.
The event is the brainchild of fair board member Tracy Haley. She, along with volunteers Gretty Gasvoda, Kelli Mercer and the Basin Area Chamber, are working together again this year.
Last year attendees sampled signature drinks from Bob’s Diner and Bakery, Goose’s, Wyoming 310, The Smokehouse Saloon, Lisa’s restaurant, The Tipsy Cow, The Burlington Place, Dry Creek Country Store, Teton Distributors and Mustang Mountain Vineyard.
Lisa’s took home best presentation. Goose’s won best drink.
