A 39-year-old woman was arrested on drug-related charges Saturday, Nov. 15 after a Greybull police officer pulled her vehicle over because of a cracked windshield.

Miki Moore was found to be in possession of approximately 3.8 grams of methamphetamine, 4.4 grams of marijuana and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.

Moore has since been charged with unlawful possession of a Schedule I/II narcotic drug, a felony, as well as misdemeanor charges of driving with a damaged windshield and possession of a controlled substance in plant form, less than 3 ounces.

In a social media post, Police Chief Travis Davis said the officer made the stop, Sgt. Drew Patrick, observed indicators of possible drug activity, which prompted the search.

“Sgt. Patrick continues to demonstrate strong skill in identifying drug activity and safely apprehending offenders, contributing to ongoing enforcement efforts in the community,” Davis said.

He further credited Deputy Seth Hoblit and K-9 Trapper of the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in the investigation.

The traffic stop occurred near the intersection of First Avenue North and North Fourth Street.

Moore’s bail has been set at $25,000.
