He was born in Fromberg, Mont., on Aug. 13, 1942.

Darlene Ostrander passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024, at New Horizons Care Center in Lovell. Cremation has taken place, and no services will be held at this time.
Haskell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Donna Lee (Bruce) Moberly, 90, passed away at her home on Feb. 17, 2024, surrounded by her beloved family.  Donna was born on Sept. 8, 1933, in Cody, Wyo., the only child born to William Gerald and Alma Mary (Campbell) Bruce.  They later adopted Michael James, giving Donna her only brother.

Carla Rae Neves Loveland, a long-time resident of Burlington, Wyo., passed away Feb. 13, 2024. She was 100 years old.

Carla was born in Byron, Wyo., on Dec. 24, 1923. Although premature, she came with long black hair and wide eyes.

Karen Lee Swiftney, 71, of Greybull, Wyo., was called home by her Heavenly Father Tuesday, Feb 6, 2024, surrounded by her family after a courageous three-year battle with cancer.
Karen was brought into this world on July 6, 1952 (on her grandparent’s 42nd wedding anniversary) to Lester and Barbara (Nedervelt) Werly. Karen graduated in 1970 from Spring Lake High School in Michigan. She met the love of her life, Dennis Swiftney, in June 1970 and got married May 22, 1971. They had 52 wonderful years. They had two sons, Corey and Grady, a few short years later. They moved to Sheridan, Wyo., in 1977 where Karen was a produce clerk for Albertsons for 30 years. Karen and Dennis eventually moved to Greybull, Wyo., to be closer to their grandchildren and built their forever log cabin home.

Philip Davis was born in Greybull, Wyo., the firstborn of Melba and Jonathan Davis, and spent much of his first year living west of Greybull in a one-room log cabin built of logs his father had hauled off the Big Horns.
His brother, Tom, was born 18 months later, and some of Philip’s earliest memories were of staying with his Davis grandparents on the family farm on Emblem Bench.  “Grandma made her own lye soap and washed her clothes on a washboard.  All the cooking and heating was done on a wood stove, so the water bucket would be frozen many mornings in the winter time.” His sister, Susan, was born in 1942.
