John Good, 88, passed peacefully at the Billings Clinic Hospital on Jan. 11, 2022. A private graveside service will be held Thursday, Jan. 27 at the Donald J. Ruhl Memorial Cemetery. A celebration of his life will be held in the spring.

John was born Dec. 30, 1933, in Shell, the son of Arnold Ira and Vera Rhea Good. His education began in a small school on Lower Beaver Creek, then in the small two-room school in Shell. He graduated from the eighth grade, attended Greybull High School and graduated with the Class of 1952. He continued his education at Northwest Community College in Powell.

Boyd W. Wilson, 80, passed away peacefully at his home in Cowley January 7, 2022. 

He was born September 4, 1941, in Lovell to Charles A. Wilson and Mildred Whitmore. He grew up and attended school in Cowley. He worked on the Wilson farm/ranch, did construction and was a mechanic all his life.

Rita Fern Foster, 81, passed away peacefully at her home January 10, 2022, with her son, Steve, and granddaughter, Amber, by her side. 

Rita was born in Hart, Texas, to Hobson T. Sanders and Ilo Bell Sanders on May 31, 1940. She was the youngest of nine children.

Mary Maxine Weller Dove died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022.

Mary was born in Deaver March 18, 1934. She was the second of two children born to Virgil William Weller and Mary Poor Weller. Her sister, Wilma Elizabeth Weller Richards, was 11 years older, so Mary Maxine was raised almost like an only child on the farm, where her family raised crops and sheep.

Lenora “Lenny” Ada Yenny

April 6, 1942 – Dec. 28, 2021

Lenora “Lenny” Ada Yenny (Scannell) was called home on December 28, 2021. 

Lenny was born on April 6, 1942, in South Boston, Mass. (better known as “Southie”).  She grew up learning the value of hard work from her Italian mother, Jane, who worked as a grocery store clerk, and Irish father, Michael, who was a fishmonger.  Lenny grew up with her parents, two sisters and one brother, and was also surrounded by lots of other relatives – aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Home is where she learned some of her excellent authentic cooking and baking skills.

In loving memory of Milan Kent Sylvester, who was born Sept. 17, 1937, and died Dec. 15, 2021.

Kent was preceded in death by his father Raymond Sylvester, mother Vera Marie (Goul) Sylvester, brother Rexford Ray and grandson Kenneth Milan.

Kent is survived by his wife Cecelia (Cis) (Wickert); sons Raymond Kent and Becky (Boyd)-Paula (Smith), Jeffrey Earl and Karen (Norris), Timothy Warren and Marla (Davis) Michelle Rae and Herb Turner; grandsons Jeffrey, Brandon, Paul Kent, Timothy, Jonathan, Casey, Cassidy; granddaughters Kristen (Gregg) and Bree Jackson.  Kent was blessed with 12 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving is the Tyler Greer family, friends and family of AA, Kent's horse Fletcher and his dog Sadie.

Kent attended high school in Fortville, Ind., joining the Navy in 1955.

Gary Allen Coleman

Dec. 17, 1939 – Nov. 28, 2021

Gary Allen Coleman, 81, of Greybull, Wyo., passed away at his home on Nov. 28, 2021. Gary was born in Denver, Colo., on Dec. 17, 1939, to Marian A. Coleman and Della V. Coleman. He was one of four siblings.

Gary completed school up to the 10th grade and later received his GED. He served in the Army in Korea for three years as a sharp shooter and doing automotive maintenance. Shortly after, he attended various technical and mechanic trade schools to train in diesel mechanics, and a darn good one he was.

Gary had three sons, Gary Lee Garner, Allen Jay Garner, and Randy Joel Garner, and two daughters, Dawn Michelle Snyder and Tracy Diane Aguilar. He married his late wife, Linda Aguilar, on Dec. 31, 1982, at their home. They moved to the Big Horn Basin area 25 years ago from Denver, Colo.
