Dixie Darlene (Patrick) Johnson departed this world on Thursday, May 19, 2022, surrounded by her family, to be with her Lord and Savior, joining her parents and siblings in the Kingdom. Dixie was born on July 18, 1949, to Glen and Florence Patrick and was raised in Manderson. She married Eddie Johnson October 17, 1964, and raised a daughter, Sheri, and son Sean.

Her parents preceded her in death along with brothers Charles, Richard and Ralph and sisters Lois and Pat.

Katherine Groom Gulk, 93, passed away May 13, 2022, from natural causes while residing at New Horizons Care Center in Lovell.

Kathie was born in Elmira, New York, July 26, 1928, to Lawrence Groom and Edyth (Taggart) Groom, one of eight children.

Shad Lee Carter, 35, passed away from complications due to pneumonia and multiple infections on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, with family by his side at Billings Clinic.

He was born on August 4, 1986, in Lovell to Ray Morris Carter and Karen Bischoff Carter.

Donna Lee Cook Stanger

Donna Lee Cook Stanger began her turn on earth in Burlington, Wyo., on Oct. 8, 1931. She was the first child of Donald Sylvester Cook and Geneva Marie Aagard. She spent several years working as a secretary in various locations. Her faith was strong, and she enjoyed serving in her church all her life. She was passionate about gardening, family history and making memories for her children and grandchildren.

She married her sweetheart, Alfred Neil Stanger, on Dec. 21, 1951, in the Idaho Falls temple for time and all eternity. Their five children soon followed.
