Franklin Hal Fleming left this world on the evening of January 20 while watching TV with his wife, Gert.

On December 28, 1934, Franklin was born to Hal and Icel Fleming in Frannie, where he was born and raised in the same house, joining his siblings, Art, Elma, Bill and Audrey. He attended Deaver-Frannie schools and graduated in 1953.

Carl Leigh Bair was born in Shelley, Idaho, on November 15, 1932, to Gladys Harker Bair and Leonard Leigh Bair. He was the oldest of three boys. He passed from this life on January 19, 2022, and is now reunited with his wife, Karyn Black Bair, and many family and friends.

Delila Wilhelmina Salmela Michaels

Oct. 13, 1927 – Jan. 15, 2022

Delila, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Jan. 15, 2022, in Greybull, Wyo., at the age of 94.

Delila was born Oct. 13, 1927, at Almy, Wyo., in a log house on the family ranch. Her parents, Eino and Hilya Salmela, were of Finnish descent and as such Delila was proud to be 100 percent Finn which was later verified by an Ancestry DNA test. She grew up with her older sister Vivian (Preator) and her younger brother and best friend Bud. She loved animals and enjoyed raking and stacking hay on the ranch with their team of horses.

She went to grade school in Almy and later graduated high school from nearby Evanston, Wyo.

John Good, 88, passed peacefully at the Billings Clinic Hospital on Jan. 11, 2022. A private graveside service will be held Thursday, Jan. 27 at the Donald J. Ruhl Memorial Cemetery. A celebration of his life will be held in the spring.

John was born Dec. 30, 1933, in Shell, the son of Arnold Ira and Vera Rhea Good. His education began in a small school on Lower Beaver Creek, then in the small two-room school in Shell. He graduated from the eighth grade, attended Greybull High School and graduated with the Class of 1952. He continued his education at Northwest Community College in Powell.

Boyd W. Wilson, 80, passed away peacefully at his home in Cowley January 7, 2022.

He was born September 4, 1941, in Lovell to Charles A. Wilson and Mildred Whitmore. He grew up and attended school in Cowley. He worked on the Wilson farm/ranch, did construction and was a mechanic all his life.

Rita Fern Foster, 81, passed away peacefully at her home January 10, 2022, with her son, Steve, and granddaughter, Amber, by her side.

Rita was born in Hart, Texas, to Hobson T. Sanders and Ilo Bell Sanders on May 31, 1940. She was the youngest of nine children.

Mary Maxine Weller Dove died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022.

Mary was born in Deaver March 18, 1934. She was the second of two children born to Virgil William Weller and Mary Poor Weller. Her sister, Wilma Elizabeth Weller Richards, was 11 years older, so Mary Maxine was raised almost like an only child on the farm, where her family raised crops and sheep.
