Thomas C. “Tom” Frame, 89, died just after sunset on January 22, 2021, at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula. 

Tom was the son of the dearly loved Beulah Frame, a longtime kindergarten teacher of Lovell. 

John Norman Fink

Cremation has  taken place and a celebration of the life of John Norman  Fink will be held at a later date.  John passed away Dec. 24, at the Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Deer Park, Wash.

He was born Oct. 22, 1941, in Greybull, the son of John Norman Fink Jr. and Opal Mae Miller Fink. He grew up and received his education in Greybull and graduated from Greybull High School.

John worked for Holly Sugar. After his retirement from Holly Sugar, they moved to Sidney, Mont., and from there to Deer Park, Wash.

He was a member of the Lutheran Church. John was also a member of the American Morgan Horse Association.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Frances Fink Chapman and Mary Ellen Fink Rimer, and his brother Chris.

Opal Leora Thornberry

Opal Leora Thornberry, 87, a resident of Bonnie Bluejacket Memorial Nursing Home, formerly of Greybull, died Jan. 22, 2021.

She was born Aug. 28, 1933, in Waynesburg, Pa., the daughter of Asa and Evelyn Webster. She attended school there, eventually winding up in Wyoming.

Leora (the name she was mostly known by) married Wilmer Thornberry March 6, 1954, in Laramie, Wyo. Afterward they traveled across the state while Wilmer worked in construction. In 1959 they purchased a home in Greybull where they raised their two sons, Steven and Roger.

She worked many years at the former Bryant’s Campers company and at Davies Machine Shop. She also babysat a few special kids including her grandchildren.

Thomas “Tom” Edward Rock, 60, born to Margaret and Wilfred “Buck” Rock on September 11, 1960, in Port Huron, Mich., passed away on January 16, 2021, in Frannie at home surrounded with his family and friends. 

Tom moved to Frannie with his family in 1974. He attended Deaver-Frannie High School

Sheryl Lee Usher Brown passed away peacefully on her birthday, December 7, 2020, in the Billings St. Vincent Hospital. Her last wish, to be able to spend at least part of her birthday with her deceased husband, was granted. 

Robert M. McIntosh

Robert M. McIntosh, age 90, passed away Sunday, Jan. 3, at the West Park Hospital in Cody. 

He was born to Ira and Della McIntosh at home in Burlington on Dec. 5, 1930, the seventh of 12 children. Virtually all of his life he lived on the family farm in Burlington, which he acquired from his father.  Being at home on the farm was the only place he truly wanted to be.  It was one place he was happiest. 

A love of animals was a characteristic he seemed to have almost from birth, which lasted throughout his life.  He had a sheep operation numbering as many as 2,200 ewes, and was a member of the Otter Creek Grazing Association, and the Wyoming Woolgrowers Association. In 1981, he focused his attention on cattle and row crops, from which he “retired” in 1993, when farming operations transitioned to his son, Dale.

Larry Stephen ‘Steve’ Hanson

Jan. 26, 1947 – Jan. 4, 2021

Larry Stephen Hanson (Steve) erupted in to this world on Jan 26, 1947 in Basin, Wyo. He left us on Jan 4, 2021, at the Billings Clinic Hospital in Billings, Mont., to avoid the Georgia Run-off Election. His wife, Ann was blessed to be at his side.

Steve worked in the family honey business as a boy in Greybull, where he learned his work ethic, and was a hard worker in all the jobs he held. He was always busy, busy, busy. 

Steve graduated from Greybull High School in 1966 and joined the Army during the Vietnam War and served in Korea. He married Peggy Wood in December of that year. They had two sons, Corey and David, and divorced after nine years. During that time, in 1971, Steve hired out on the railroad and retired from the BNSF 40 years later. There are way too many railroad stories to share here.
