James “Jim” L. McDermott passed away at home on Dec. 6, 2020. Jim was born to Dee Leon McDermott and Louise Lewis on May 6, 1932, in Corning, Adams County, Iowa, and was raised in Cowley.

Louis Albert Cardenas

Feb. 26, 1943 – Dec. 4, 2020

Louis Albert Cardenas, 77, of Greybull, Wyo., passed away peacefully on Dec. 4 in Billings, Mont., at Advanced Care Hospital of Montana with his wife and step daughter by his side.

Louis was born Clayton, New Mexico on Feb. 26, 1943, to Miguel Cardenas and Rachel Santisteven. He went to school at Douglas High in Wyoming. Louis married Margaret Dooley Cardenas on March 28, 1995, in Greybull Wyo., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  He worked as a steelworker for many years constructing buildings and in his later years he ran his own yard business he and his wife built from the ground up servicing many people whom all loved him in his community. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Army and was awarded an honorable discharge as he finished his full term serving his country.

It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Ann Harris Gallagher have announced her death on Nov. 23, 2020. She was only 59.

Linda, known to many as “Aunt Linda,” was born May 12, 1961, to Gary Mac Harris and Shirley Eloise Adams. She had two brothers, Jay and Ron. When her parents divorced, she went to live with Dick and Mary Jane Watson. They raised her as one of their own.

Tony was born on March 29, 1954, in Prosser, Wash., son of Antone Sr. and Virginia G. (Forgey) Selzler.

James Robert Moore

Feb. 27, 1944 – Nov. 28, 2020

James Robert Moore, 76 passed away Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020 at home with his wife Beth, son Jim, and daughter Mari Beth by his side. Jim was born in Cheyenne on Feb. 27, 1944, to Dorthy and Walter Moore and lived his entire life in Wyoming. Jim graduated from NCHS, went on to Black Hills State, and competed in wrestling and football. Jim married Beth in 1965 and they shared 55 years of married life together.

It was in 1969 that they moved to Greybull to purchase Ranger Creek Guest Ranch and operated it for 22 years. As a private business owner, it allowed him the freedom to pursue his passions: camping, hunting, outfitting, campfire cook-outs, snowmobiles, and other outdoor activities. Jim had a real love of the mountains, especially the Big Horns.

Gary Pangburn

Gary Pangburn grew up in Frannie, Wyo., attended and graduated from Deaver (Wyo.) High School in 1962.

Gary also attended Northwest Community College in Powell, Wyo., and graduated with a B.A. from Bethel College in Minneapolis, Minn.

He then taught school in Minnesota and from there was drafted into the Army to serve several years in Vietnam.

Gary, after serving in the military, attended the University of Wyoming to complete a master's degree in educational foundations and two years toward a doctorate degree.

In 1970, Gary and Linda moved to Greybull, Wyo., where Gary taught fifth and sixth graders at Greybull Public Schools and later retired to play his favorite sport, golf, at Midway Golf Course.
